Location: Onboard NLNGSML Managed Ships
Contract Type: Full-Time
Rotation: 4-5 months on / 3 months off

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should:

• Nationality: Be a Nigerian seafarer.
• Experience: Have a minimum of three months' experience on a Gas Tanker.
• Certification: Hold a minimum of an OOW Engineering Certificate of Competency (Steam & Motor) from any of the following Maritime agencies/authorities: Algeria, Georgia, Netherlands, Argentina, Germany, New Zealand, Australia, Norway, Azerbaijan, Greece, Oman, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Belgium, Hungary, Peru, Brazil, Iceland, Philippines, Bulgaria, India, Poland, Canada, Indonesia, Portugal, Cape Verde, Iran, Romania, Chile, Ireland, Italy, Senegal, Croatia, Jamaica, Serbia, Cuba, Japan, Singapore, Cyprus, Jordan, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Korea (Republic of), South Africa, Denmark, Latvia, Spain, Ecuador, Lithuania, Sri Lanka, Madagascar, Sweden, Estonia, Malaysia, Tunisia, Ethiopia, Malta, Turkey, Faroe Islands, Mexico, Ukraine, Fiji, Montenegro, Uruguay, Finland, Morocco, USA, France, Myanmar, Vietnam.
• Age: Be 18 years of age or above.

Mandatory Certificates:

• International Passport
• Seaman’s Discharge Book
• STCW Mandatories (PSSR, PST, Fire Fighting and Prevention)
• STCW Advanced Certificates (PSCRB & Advanced Fire Fighting approved by Bermuda Flag)
• Yellow Fever Card
• Advanced Gas Tanker Certificate (LNG/LPG)
• Liquefied Natural Gas Endorsement
• High Voltage Certificate (Operational Level)
• Gas Tanker Familiarisation
• Human Element and Leadership Management (Operational Level)
• Medical First Aid
• Safety Officer Certificate
• Designated Security Duties
• Shipboard Security Officer

Other Certificate:

• Seafarer Medical Certificate approved by Bermuda Flag
